History

In the early 60's, when there were barely fast-food restaurants in Puerto Rico, a new concept specialized in rotisserie chicken was born. Mr. Martín Rosado and his sons got to the task of preparing a special recipe of how to make chicken with a distinctive native taste. Then they established the first Martin’s BBQ restaurant in PR-2 in Bayamón, Puerto Rico. Nowadays, another six restaurants operate in Bayamón,

Ever since then, the concept had such a positive impact that the name Martin’s BBQ is well known in every corner of the metropolitan area, where the bigger part of the restaurants operate and other 40 throughout the Island, five in Orlando, Florida and one in Salamanca, Spain.[2]
